the 10th Perth Japan Festival 2024

We are proudly announcing that we will have a festival this year!   It’s at the same venue, Supreme Court Garden and will extend the opening hours.   The 10th Perth Japan Festival will be held on 23 March 2024, from 11 am to 8 pm.   We will keep updating, don’t miss it

On 25th March 2023, the 9th Perth Japan Festival 2023 was held at Supreme Court Garden, Perth, WA. Thank you to all who came to the festival and enjoyed our festival. Perth Japan Festival 2023 – Guest Performer

We are proudly announcing that our guest performer is Ms Noriko Tadano. She is well known as a lady Shamisen player not only in Japan but also in Australia.  Noriko Tadano is a Japanese Tsugaru shamisen performer, composer and vocalist. Noriko is both a solo artist and collaborator and is known for crossover performances combining traditional and modern music. Noriko is an award-winning, virtuoso master of the Japanese shamisen (a 3-string, banjo-like instrument) and a traditional Japanese vocalist who has performed worldwide. Noriko has performed with renowned contemporary musicians as well as traditional Japanese artists. She also composes music for film and theatre productions. Due to concerns over the spread of Coronavirus, we have decided in principle to cancel or postpone the event. We regretfully announce the cancellation of the Perth Japan Festival on 26 March 2022. We will be considering rescheduling the event while monitoring the situation. We will keep updating the rescheduled next event on this website or our SNS (Facebook or Instagram).
